tda7294 power amplifier circuit diagram: The circuit is shown in Figure 1. The driving stage adopts the new product TDA 7294 of SGS-THOMS. The internal driving stage and output stage of the chip use DMOS field effect tubes, which are powered by ± 40V and output power It can reach 70W (RMS / 8Ω), low distortion (0.005%), delicate sound and excellent hearing, which is one of the excellent chips in recent years. The power output VT1 and VT2 use Shanken high-power counter tubes 2SA1394 and 2SC3858 (VCM = 200V, ICM = 15A, PCM≥200W, fT = 30MHz). The circuit principle is as follows: the signal is input to the IC positive phase input terminal ③ pin via C1 and R1. R7 and R3, C3, and C4 of IC pin ② form a negative feedback network, and the closed-loop gain of this amplifier is about 34 times. The ⑨ and ⑩ pins are the standby and mute terminals, respectively. Since the time constant of the R and C pins ⑩ is larger than the ⑨ pin, the switch is switched on in mute mode to avoid the impact of switching shock.
Figure 2 is a printed board (one channel), the main points of production:
1. Insulated mica sheet should be added between the metal cap of the IC and the heat sink (the metal cap communicates with the ⑧ foot).
2. The power transformer uses a ring-shaped 300W dual 20V, four 50V / 1000μF filter capacitors, two 50V / 100μF, two 100V / 0.1μF. The power supply part should be tested separately without first connecting the power amplifier, and measuring whether the positive and negative output voltages of the power supply are symmetrical, and the error should be within 0.6V.
3. When testing the machine, for safety reasons, you should first use a lower voltage experiment (such as ± 25V), without adding a signal, and measure the DC voltage of the output terminal to ground, which should normally be within 20mV.
4. The final stage bias circuit is composed of R8, R9, R10, and D1. This bias makes the output tubes VT1 and VT2 not cut off during operation, so the quiescent current can be small (about 5mA).
5. Power tubes must be strictly matched (within 3%) and genuine products are used. The output terminal resistance R14 adopts 5W non-inductive type, and the inductance L is formed by densely making 10 turns on R14 with ∮1.5mm enameled wire. TDA72294 uses 60mm × 85mm × 20mm 12-slot heat sinks, and professional heat sinks are needed for the output tube. The sections with high current on the printed board should be processed with tin rolling, which is extremely beneficial to the transparency and strength of the playback.
