At the second Dajiang AirWorks conference held recently, the Chinese manufacturer released its first web application, FlightHub, which allows operators to manage more than 10 drone formations at a time.
At the same time, they also released two new Wind custom drones that are resistant to strong winds and rain, with a payload of nearly 30 pounds (about 13.6 kilograms). Unfortunately, these two drones are all custom-made products, so they will not be sold on the official website of DJI.
In addition to the new hardware, Dajiang also announced a partnership with the fire zone in Menlo Park, California. In the California fire last month, the Menlo Park City Fire Area used more than 120 flights from the DJI drones, which were used to “provide situational awareness, assist search and rescue operations, and surveys Burned area."
The Menlo Park City Fire District is the first tester of the Dajiang FlightHub software. The system provides real-time speed, position and orientation data for each drone and simultaneously displays 4 live video streams. In addition, it provides quite a few boring but necessary features, such as managing multimedia content from multiple devices in the cloud, allowing administrators to authorize and track the use of drones to different employees.
Outside the fire department, FlightHub is also being tested in the transportation sector. As one of the largest freight rail network operators in North America, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Rail Transit (BNSF) is using FlightHub to manage its own operations, allowing this ancient industry to get help from new technologies.
FlightHub is compatible with Dajiang's Jingwei M200 series, "Wuhan" Inspire 2, Elf 4 series and "Royal" Mavic Pro drone.
FlightHub is a subscription software for 3 levels of packages. The common package can manage up to 5 drones at a price of $99/month or $999/year; the advanced package can manage 10 drones at a price of $299/month or $2999/year, and the corporate package can be managed More than 10 drones, including all private cloud functions, interested users need to make an inquiry to DJI.
FlightHub will begin a one-month public test on November 14.
Tension Compression Force Sensor
Miniature Force Sensor are designed for compression and tension and known for their small package size. They are used in tight and limited spaces. Miniature load cells are available in various capacities ranging from 5N to 200KN and in packages ranging from 8mm to 51mm OD. (can customized the Load Cell size) , the force sensors are widely used in Medical applications as well as automation where small size is a must and space is limited. If space is not an issue and higher precision is required then use a pancake style load cell. Rolling element bearing load measurement is an application where load buttons are utilized.
