Enter the command diskpart to enter the disk management command mode.

At this point, enter the list volume command to list all current drive letters. Then select the drive device to be fixed, for example, the U disk label of Xiao Bian is 4, then enter the command select volume 4. Note that only the volume label is selected here, but it is not the drive letter!

At this time, in order to allow the U disk to be permanently fixed, it is necessary to use commands to force a U disk letter to be fixed.

Whenever you insert a USB flash drive, it will be fixed on this drive letter. The specific command is assign letter=z, where z is the USB drive letter specified by Xiaobian. This can be changed according to your preferences.

Finally, type exit to exit and close the window. At this time, the U disk has been changed to the designated disk letter. Insert the U disk later and it will be fixed on this disk letter. It will never run around.
