The new C22F filter family combines IEC C22 high temperature electrical connectors with high quality power line filters. This combined jack and filter is ideal for equipment applications up to 16A nominal current in 75°C ambient temperature and up to 20A nominal current in 65°C ambient temperature. Compared to similar filter jacks, the product is uniquely designed to meet higher environmental grade requirements while offering a similarly compact size.
The combined power access module directly integrates the EMC filter with the line input for optimum electromagnetic compatibility. Large-area metal flanges feature a wide contact surface to further optimize filtering and shielding. Wiring is done using quick-connect terminals or soldering.
According to IEC standards and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) requirements, the standard C20F product and the new C22F series are designed for operating currents up to 16A at 250V input voltage and up to 20A at 125/250V input voltage.
