The top screen of the iPad Pro is named incorrectly

According to foreign media reports, market research firm DisplayMate analyst Raymond Soneira released a test report on Tuesday, including a number of tablets including iPad Pro, iPad mini 4 and Surface Pro 4. A comparison test was conducted and the results showed that the 12.9-inch ReTIna display on the iPad Pro was really good, but it still couldn't keep up with the iPad mini 4 and Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

The comments that Sorella gave to the iPad Pro's display in the test report were: "very good" in all test projects. Overall, the iPad Pro's display scored "A-".

When tested on the logarithmic intensity level of DisplayMate, the results were slightly unconventional. This is an unusual difference, says Sorella, because all of the iPad and iPhone displays that the company has tested since 2012 are equipped with a "near-perfect" Log-Straight rating.

Perhaps most surprisingly, the iPad Pro performed slightly lower than Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 in some tests. In terms of color accuracy, the iPad Pro performed "very well," but there were some minor color errors, and the Surface Pro 4 scored "excellent" in the most recent test.

Both the Surface Pro 4 and the iPad mini 4 receive an "A" rating on the overall rating of the display, while the iPad Pro has an overall rating of "A-". Despite some flaws, DisplayMate still attributes the product to the "top-level display."

The iPad Pro outperformed the Surface Pro 4 on the screen. Apple lowered the glare panel of the iPad Pro with a reflectivity of only 2.6%, surpassing Microsoft's Surface Pro 4, which has a 5.5% reflective display.

Among the three different iPad models that participated in the test, the iPad mni was far ahead and received the “best” rating on all test items except contrast. Sorella said Apple's smallest tablet "has no doubt" the best and most accurate display.

Apple's iPad Air 2 with its 9.7-inch display released in 2014 received a rating of "very good," but it lags behind the iPad 4 and iPad Pro in almost all testing and testing projects.
