Lemnis's new low-lumen (200 lm) LED bulbs in the Pharox series are priced at less than $5, but the bulb is only suitable for a few SSL applications. Lemnis' Pharox BLU bulbs target customers' residential applications, with the 240lm 5W Pharox BLU 200 and 6W Pharox BLU 300 in the series priced at $4.95 and $6.95, respectively. The Pharox BLU 200 and 300 bulbs use 4 and 6 LEDs respectively.
The Pharox BLU series is just one of Lemnis's low-lumen bulbs. The Pharox series has a one-year shelf life and does not support dimming. The adjustable Pharox XL and Pro series will have a three-year, 35,000-hour warranty and the ENERGY STAR qualification.
Lemnis will launch a higher lumen LED bulb, such as 400 lumens of Pharox's BLU, to expand its product range, and will launch 600-800 lumens in the second phase. The company has found contract manufacturers in New Delhi, India and Shenzhen, China.
