The TDA1514A is a power amplifier circuit designed by Philips for digital audio systems. The power amplifier IC has the advantages of wide frequency response, small distortion, dynamic range and large output power, which is favored by enthusiasts.
Although the TDA1514A power amplifier has many functions and advantages, it is easy to cause damage if it is used improperly. Therefore, in the installation and debugging process of this power amplifier integrated circuit, the following points must be grasped:
First, the power amplifier IC should not exceed ±27.5V. Secondly, to adjust the 0V voltage of the output point of the power amplifier, a DC servo circuit must be used, see the above figure. Again, the power supply decoupling filter capacitor should be as close as possible to the power amplifier IC.
