Door lock cylinder 100% measurement
With the continuous increase in the number of car theft, the market demanded that car manufacturers develop a new locking system. The car lock shown in this example is installed in a slot. Now, if someone pushes or turns the lock, it will jump out of the lock slot and the locking mechanism will act. The door can no longer be opened.
However, in order to ensure that the mechanism will not be triggered when the door is normally closed, the lock/groove combination must be tested reliably and stably. Therefore, the door lock must first apply certain axial force and a torque (key simulation) to tighten the door lock. Measurements are recorded, evaluated, and transmitted via Profibus-DP to an automated system for statistics and archiving. For time-optimized operation, various measurement states are built on one assembly line.
